I had been having problems with standard innerspring/foam mattresses. Not comfort but allergic reactions to foam. After much investigating decided to try Awara. Got mattress put on my box spring and waited for it to recover from packing. It had arubbery smell which became less but never left. Also 13" mattress was never taller than 11". On one side I could feel springs through latex so I rotated it. Next the mattress was "Ice Cold". I have no idea why. This subsided after a couple of weeks. Though I only tried sleeping on it about 3-4 times. I called company within the first week. They offered to send another mattress because of Manufacturer defects... I declined wanted to return it for refund. They told me I had to wait 30 days to start that process. So I waited and slept on old twin bed is spare room. Chatting with customer service to get this info took me 2 chats lasting 3 hours each mostly wait time. After 30 days I was told to send pictures and because they could not set up a p/u in my area (chgo suburbs) I had to get 1-800-Got-Junk to pick up and pay $139.00 - which they have not and will not refund. I suppose if I got a good quality mattress from Awara to start with- the comfort level was okay...but bad construction and slooooow customer service made this a very long month. Would definitely NOT Recommend!!
