This is the best ever

We initially bought a tempurpedic based on many recommendations. 30 days later and my back was an absolute mess. I could hardly move and I was at the chiropractor 6 times in 30 days. The chemical smell was horrible and I was sweating my butt off. My wife could not bear to sleep in it. I even had my kids jump on it to try to "break it in". So, we went back to the store and the sales person was very helpful in assisting with the problems that we were having. My wife stumbled across the Aireloom mattresses and suggested I try it out. I fell in love with the support and comfort immediately. The price kind of scared me initially, but with 30 days of hell behind me, I was up for anything. I like the fact that there are many "real" materials in this mattress and it is not a cookie cutter mattress made out of chemicals. The delivered the mattress promptly and our first night was heaven. Support, cool and comfort. We noticed immediately that when the two of us were in the middle of the bed, there was considerable sag to the mattress. I was kind of perplexed by this until I was on the floor playing with our dog and my wife and kids were horsing around in the bed. I noticed that there was significant flex in the box spring support slats when they were rolling around on the bed. Being an amish bed frame, the box is supported by 3/4" oak slats that run from side to side. I made up support blocks positioned under the slats in the middle of the bed and the problem was rectified. This bed is as comfortable today as it was the day we bought it. Side note: when we were researching this bed, I sent an e-mail to Aireloom to question some of the negative comments that I found on the net. Earl Kluft (owner) called me on Saturday afternoon and spent 45 minutes discussing the beds and the way things are constructed. Talk about customer support!

My husband and I are seriously considering buying an Aireloom mattress however we are concerned about the negative reviews we've read regarding permanent dips and sags. I'd love to know how you're mattress is holding up now that you've had it a while. Thanks in advance! Sharon

We still love it. We have had it for 3 years or so now and it feels as good as the day we bought it. I recommend that you have a good frame or forego the box and set it on a platform instead. This mattress is best with a well supported base. I had to add extra supports under our bed for the frame because the box was not strong enough to support the mattress properly.

My wife and I are close to buying the Airloom Solitude Plush mattress ( Queen size, not adjustable base), but are also concerned with some of the negative reviews on the web and the apparent fact that this is a new mattress with no reviews. Given the price is almost $3000, we would like to have some positive feedback before committing to it. Also, I am concerned that the box spring that comes with it may not provide sufficient support as mentioned by one customer. Will this apply to the model we are now looking at? Thank you! You have to remember that comfort is subjective. The only way to know is spend several nights on it. Buy from a reputable company that offers sleep guarantees. Typically the only people that post reviews are unhappy. People rarely comment on the good.
