Aireloom Luxury Latex Jacaranda, the best king size bed 4 grand can buy.

I purchased my "Aireloom Luxury Latex Jacaranda" bed at Sit 'n Sleep in December 2010. It has no springs, just a very dense "Dunlap" and "Talalay" latex core. The "Jacaranda" is a firm mattress with its very comfortable "Talalay" layer at the top. In the first couple of months I can say that this is an incredibly comfortable bed; the best I've ever slept on and I believe it's superior to any bed with a traditional spring mattress. I also prefer my natural latex mattress to the "Temper-pedic" which is a petroleum based product that lacks the bouncy response of natural latex. The "Temper-pedic" mattress is hard when it is cold and it responds to body heat slowly. Only time will tell how long my "Aireloom" latex mattress will continue to provide this level of support and comfort, but from what I've researched it should last a very long time. The Aireloom warranty is 20 years (the first 10 full, the second 10 prorated). If you go with an Aireloom Luxury Latex bed (an all latex mattress without springs) you'll probably agree that it's the finest bed you've ever slept on.

I wish I could agree with the above comments. I bought this mattress in a full size from Sit n Sleep in May 2011. After 2 or 3 weeks of sleeping on this bed, I knew it was no help to my painfull lower back and hip joints. I could not afford to pay the $500 to reshelve this mattress in exchange for a different brand. It felt fine when I lay on this for one hour in the store, so I cannot blame the salesman because I chose this . $3,400 for the base and matress is a steep price for a bed that does not provide comfort.

I hate my bed. My back hurts so much. I can't understand why it is so uncomfortable, but it is. My lower back kills me. I can't sleep on my side, or my hip hurts. I finally give up and go sleep somewhere else. I am going today to buy a normal, coil mattress. I can't figure out if this bed is too hard or too soft, but it just doesn't give any support. It is like sleeping on a rock. I have a latex and a memory foam topper on top of it, which doesn't help.
