My wife and I are in PAIN !

After spending $3000+ for this mattress, we thought we would have a great mattress by which we could get a good night's sleep. After just 6 months of use (was new from Macy's) both of us are sleeping in deep body impressions, so much so its become like climbing a "rock wall" to get close to one another. She weighs in at 148, and I'm 6'2" at 205. We have tried to work with Macey's to get some sort of resolution all to no avail. Macy's sent an independent "tester" here who measured our bed "sag", its was not the 1 1/2" in the Hotel Collection by Aireloom King Mattress Set, Vitagenic Plush Streamline warranty / manufacturer defects resolution agreement. A ridiculous measurement because there was not weight on the bed. Beware: this mattress is NOT what it is advertised to be, other than very expensive. We now know there are much better mattresses available and far lower prices. What a scam and shame on Macy's for pushing such a low quality product.

Cons:

  • Pressure Relief

Aireloom appreciates any constructive comments regarding our brand. We are proud of our product and stand by it 100%. As the manufacturer we take great pride in producing mattresses, that are at all price points, the best value available and are always unhappy to hear someone has purchased one of our products, and is not completely satisfied. This was not our intension. In order to properly determine the origin and nature of your concern we ask that you contact our warranty service department at 909-373-4211.

I completely agree! What an inaccurate way to measure the sag in a bed. They sent some one out for our warranty claim with an old bent yard stick. He pressed the yardstick flat against the mattress then he used a ruler to measure the depth beneath the yardstick. It measured a full inch in some spots but not an inch and a half because his yardstick was bowed by about a half an inch! What a SCAM! I am totally disappointed in Aireloom beds, I tell everyone I know, not to buy their product. Jen from California

You might find that the problem lies with your bed frame and not your bed. We have an aireloom and absolutely love it. The best $3K investment ever. However, your bed frame needs to be supported in the middle as well as the sides to ensure that the box spring does not deflect between the frame rails.

I purchase the aireloom bed in March of 2013 the OLIVIA much firmer them I expected. I purchase the bed from the Dump a discount furniture store. I expected the bed to be much softer which most are complaining about which I would have preferred. The first few months I couldn't sleep it was much to hard but I think now I'm breaking it in. My husband can get in and out of bed and I don't feel the bed move at all, there are no indents in the bed which is pillow top. You could jump on one side of the and disturb the person on the other side. The bed cost me 1900.00. I have a problem with the pillow top just being on one side so your not able the flip the bed over the original price of the bed was over 5000.00. For that price it should be pillow top on both sides

Mattresses come in many different levels of comfort and firmness. Comfort and Firmness are subject to each individual and is a mattter of personal preference. As with all new mattress sets you must expect some level of adjustment.Based on what you have written it appears, you may have purchased a mattress firmer than you need. The fact that the mattress is a one sided pillow-top is something that should have been discussed at time of purchase. As the manufacturer, we provide a warranty to protect your rights as a consumer and it clearly states what is covered. If you feel that the mattress is defective please contact our customer service department at 909-373-4211 .

Hello, I purchased the same mattress (Hotel Collection) from Macy's in January of 2013. It was the worst mistake of my life. This product was sold to me by Macy's salesperson as one of the best, but it is one of the lowest quality mattress I have ever purchased $3000 down the drain. I called Macy's since apparently this junk product has 20 years warranty. They did the same ridiculous test and determined it is only 1/2 inch vs. 1 1/2 inch without any weight or anything on top of the mattress. First the test is completely flawed and does not take into account anything else. I showed the inspector where the mattress was softening. He completely ignored it. I have had back problems since 2 months after I purchases this junk. Now I have to buy another mattress and the warranty is absolutely useless. Do not purchase anything from Airloom. You will regret it!!!

Hi, I wish I had read these comments before purchasing our Aireloom Splendid 'on sale' for approx $2500.00 from Sit N Sleep last August. I needed something (due to my several back surgeries) that was super comfortable and would not sag, and lo and behold, less than 15 months later, my side of the bed is so deep when sleeping that I hate how it makes my back feel, not to mention that I move to the middle of the bed each night to get that same wonderful feeling I had when we first got the bed, but roll back over into the 'pit' while sleeping! I will call the warranty department, and probably go through what everyone else has gone through, and will update after he comes out! November 6, 2014

We have had a Hotel Collection Vitagenic mattress for about three months. My lower back problem is gone. I never believed such claims....but, it happened to me! It's a little early to say how the mattress wears, but so far, I could not be happier. My husband (70 lbs heavier than me) loves it a little less, he sinks into the mattress, and gets warm. But, he's happy about my improved back, and he finds the bed comfortable, too.
