Help! I have been trying for week to get details on the Vitagenci Gel Firm bed -which Macys does not have. How it is made? What type of foam (supplier-as this is so important)? How many inches of foam? Gel foam? (again, very important). I ordered a $2000 Beautyrest Black Label (kamryn firm-queen) for $2000 from Macys. Gel foam too. And after 2 wks it sunk 3.5 " per outside bedding consultant. Inside quality was horrible, and i found out later it sunk from online reviews. ANd Macys now, pulled those reviews, which is very sad. I am finding these beds out of foam do not have support since its foam, not good old fashioned bedding material. For $2000, it should make me cappacino. I am supposed to today-return Black Label bed-and the Macys bed rep told me 'get the Vitagenic Gel Firm' $2000, and its same as Black Label. High density foam with gel foam, but no DATA (sorry, science research brain-which makes me great consumer) to see how long it lasts, materials used (construction), etc. If anyone knows more details, I am afraid to buy another bed, that wont last and will sag-- beds are not made what they used to be. Macys changes names of these beds all time and then pulls neg reviews. Right now, June 2013, there is 0 reviews of Vitagenic Gel Firm online Macys . I too just bought an aireloom vitagenic streamline plush by Hotel collection. I did my research for months prior but, when I found this bed at macys, myself and my husband layed down on it and it was heavenly. We just got the delivery today. I initially smelt strong chemical odors which is making me nervous and second guess my choice. I'm letting it air out as long as I can and sleeping on my couch a few nights. It is made in the USA however, I couldn't find more I depth details of the foam, etc. I believe it has some foam but, not much. Anyway, I will write a proper review once it's aired out and I'm actually sleeping on it. Hoping for the best. ..

I too looked at the Hotel Vitagenic Gel ultra firm mattress at Macy's. It's on sale. A big selling point for me is that it's handmade for Macy's. It has gel and springs. There aren't enough reviews to make a solid decision. Some updates from previous posters who bought the mattress would be greatly appreciated.

This mattress is awful. 5 years in and I am 32 and need a chiropractor. Tried to have replaced by company, they came out and measured, but said to wasn't sagging enough yet. Yet! Purchased at Macy's. it's the bed- when we travel and sleep elsewhere- no issues.
