Purchased bed in Dec. 2012. In 2014, pump which has two hose connectors for left and right side of bed, left side quit filling left air bladder. I switched hoses left to right, and was able to fill my side of bed. Called Air Beds Unlimited and talked to Michael, who tried trouble shooting air pump over the phone. He said " he has never heard of a pump doing this" and asked me to hit the up and down (inflate, deflate) buttons several times. That seemed to get it working. In 2016 I called him again with same problem and he recommended I replace the pump. Since I am now under the prorated part of the warranty do I really want to put more money into a four year old bed. It is now Aug 2018, the pump has quit filling either side of bed. I filed a complaint with Colorado BBB and when I called yesterday 8/23/18 Michael seemed a little pissed over the phone since I was messing up his perfect record with them. Explained situation with pump again except now I cannot add air to the bed. He explained now that I have had the bed for 5 1/2 years I have to pay 129.25 for another pump and $25.00 shipping. Discussed this with my wife and she agrees with me not to put any more money into this dead horse and purchase a new Sleep Number King Bed. We have a 12 year old queen Sleep Number which still works great and will more than likely be sleeping on it until a new bed arrives.
