I don't sleep as soundly as our old mattress. I've been sore or stiff every morning for over a year now, in the back, neck, hips, and /or shoulder. I can't sleep on my front because it hurts my lower back. Can't sleep on my back because it leaves me stiff. This mattress contributed to shoulder impingement on my right side, so that's out. I can only sleep on my left side, and must thoroughly stretch my whole body when I get up. I never slept like this on other mattresses that weren't memory foam.
My partner sleeps ok, but they're not as sensitive as I am. We're way past the 100 night guarantee, and it's too expensive to replace.

It took some getting used to because of health issues with pain and I think the longer you sleep on it the more comfortable it gets. I have a king size medium support and there is no lump in the middle of the bed between two sleeping like other mattresses, this keeps it's shape.
I'm very happy with this bed : )

Bed is softer, which I wanted but has a general lack of internal support for laying on my back. I tend to always be on my side or rarely go to my stomach due to this feeling of sleeping with my back flexed not flat.

I have a disease which causes me to have a stiff back in the morning, and pain in my hip joints. Even with all that, this bed has been fantastic to sleep on. I recently started a medicine which helps my pain, and sleeping on this bed is an absolute DREAM now.

There doesn't seem to be relief for those who only sleep on their side and this bed did not do as advertised. I went with the recommended bed and suffered via the pocket book and through increased back pain. My mistake was realizing this was only making things worse after the free period. It is hard to just toss such an expensive item but that is all it is good for.

I've had my Alexander mattress for almost two years now. I ordered the Queen Soft and was expecting a sink-in pillow-top feel, but alas, this mattress isn't at all like that. I wouldn't even call it moderately soft...it is relatively firm. I am light (135lbs) and have had wonderful nights on Beautyrest mattresses at hotels, so I might just get one later on. As of now, I just bought a feather bed to go on top of it and that has worked well.
