I was excited that this mattress is made of plant based products rather than petroleum based. It was firm and very comfortable. After only a year, though, a hump had developed in the middle of the mattress. Very disappointed when I went on the website and learned this problem was very common. The remedy was that the company would pay for it to be shipped back, and then measure the rise in the middle. If it was more than a certain amount, they would replace it, but if not, you had to pay for the shipping. Now it looks like the company is out of business.
Based on a call to Back to Bed rep & the issues of no center support left where I fall to the middle, they want me to pay a fee for them to come out just to look at the mattress then charge me another fee to have it replaced! Wow...after what I spent on this mattress already. I would never have purchased had I known how they handle warranty issues.

Smells likes chemicals and makes us sweat at night
We are so disappointed with this purchase. Complete waste of money. It smells horrible, even through a mattress cover. There is something wrong with something you sleep on smelling like chemicals. And, it makes you sweat all night long. No way to cool off unless you move to a different part of the mattress... it traps heat.
Thought I'd try a memory foam bed over previous Simmons innerspring which lasted a good 8 years before I had to put it out to pasture. Mi Forma was more in my price point - though obviously not worth it considering I needed to replace it due to horrible low back pain caused by sinking in the middle over time & retaining heat, though at the time it was marketed as sleeping cooler than Tempurpedic or other memory foam mattresses due to holes in the soy based memory foam. It's all B.S..
My mattress was the last thing I considered as the cause of my back pain as it was not even 2 years old.
I don't blame the store or salesman who sold it to me, just the product itself and it's performance over time. I tried it and it didn't work for me. I have now been bitten by a completely memory foam bed - never going back. It's the Innerspring for me. If I have to replace an innerspring in 5-10 years, so be it.
Oh, and think about it - no matter what anyone says - springs are better for sex - more traction, energy rebound... and a guy doesn't have to work 3x as hard to get the energy going, fighting the mattress and his partner who is stuck motionless in the memory foam bed! I ultimately decided to go with a bed with as little foam as possible (a Simmons Beautyrest Recharge - the less foam and cushioning (memory foam or otherwise) the more air flow you will have and the cooler you will sleep. Period. If mattress manufacturers would get back to basics and leave the technology to NASA, we'd all sleep better - and cooler!! AND cheaper!!
