This mattress has been the biggest mistake I’ve ever made on a purchase. At $7000 I expected it to be the best. It is lumpy. It is hard. There’s no getting comfortable. The tufting is so profound that I feel them digging into my body all night. I wake up every morning with lower back pain. Forget about sleeping on my side. The shoulder and hip pain is worst. It is overall the worst thing I’ve ever purchased. I have emailed the company twice now, begging for advice, with zero response. At this price point you think customer service would give a crap. Just don’t waste your money. I probably would have been happier with a beauty rest quite honestly.

We wake up literally every morning and remark how phenomenal the bed is. We also do the same each evening as it is incredibly comfortable. This is worth every penny and more for the extraordinary value. We spend a third of our life sleeping in this bed and there can be no price tag on our health.
We cannot recommend this particular Olivia Firm mattress enough for anyone looking for outstanding value in a mattress.

Not sure what mattress the other reviewers are sleeping on, but my husband and I are in love with our C&W. We purchased it as a gift to ourselves when we purchased our first house. I've been 99% pain free (I have degenerative spine issues) and my husband no longer has hip discomfort when he wakes in the morning. We appreciate the fact that it was made in the US and uses quality materials. When we were traveling, my parents slept on it and loved it as much as their Stearns & Foster (they plan on purchasing a C&W for their guest room).
It *does* take about 2-4 weeks to break in (as explained by the saleswoman where we purchased it) and you do need to rotate as directed for the first 1-3 months. It's a little bit of a pain, but totally worth it. I can only guess others haven't given it enough time to break it in. My only other minor issue with it is that it could sleep a little cooler. My sleep is too important not to get a great mattress and we're glad we splurged on this one.

The tuffed buttons dig into my hips and knees! Awful!
The mattress in the store felt wonderful! We felt it was worth the extra expense, three times as much as other high end mattresses. Once we had it awhile (it does take time to adjust to a new mattress) we realized it wasn't what we'd expected it to be at all! My husband and I both toss and turn all night long trying to get comfortable. We're so incredibly disappointed in this purchase!

Just Wanted the Same Mattress we Tried in the Store
How is it possible that a floor model and a purchased model are so night-and-day different? The floor model was a dream. We’ve now had our mattress for four nights and they’re the worst I’ve slept in years. I wish I had my old mattress (and several thousand dollars) back. If you’re looking at this mattress, please look elsewhere!

In the title on the bed you are reviewing is the “Olivia luxury firm” - we have an Olivia Plush pillow-top that you may of wanted which is exactly how your describing a soft puffy pillow top. Please get back to the store rep and let them know they ordered you the incorrect mattress
I don’t dislike the mattress, we just cannot tolerate the smell. I’ve never had a mattress that smells this terrible and I do not know how to get rid of the chemical (mildew) odor.

The mattress seemed very comfortable in the store. When we got it home it was a different feel altogether. The store display had a box spring and we bought the adjustable frame. I don’t know if that had anything to do with it or not but I wake up with bad lower back pain everyday. I am so disappointed especially since we paid 3 times what we had paid for our previous mattress that was so much better! Big mistake. Try Stearns & Foster, I’m so sorry I got rid of my old bed.

No, completely different beds. This C&W line has a 99 rating, and although we strive for 100 there are times where a bed is purchased and the feel is not correct for that particular customer
