Not cheap but worth it

Horrible mattress

The salesgirl at Ashley Home Store told me to give it the ninety days before deciding on it. I had told her that I sat on it right after I received it and the whole side caved in. I would have no problem believing that this mattress was previously used and returned. I gave it the ninety days and never had a morning where my back didn’t hurt. I got hold of my salesgirl right after the ninety days. She had been on vacation and texted that she would exchange it. I kept getting texts telling me the delivery dates and times the mattress would arrive. It never did and when I went to the store to find out what was happening, I was told that I complained 4 days after the ninety days and no exchange could be made. I really hate this mattress and am stuck with it. I would never buy another Tempur-Pedic mattress again, nor will I ever do business with any Ashley store.

Memory Firm Foam Fantastic

Firm felt great in store, not every night

I cannot blame the mattress for not fitting my body, but so far I am uncomfortable every night in my lower back and up between my shoulders. Trying to roll to the side to alleviate the pain and discomfort is difficult because the bed is so firm. My back will feel tired throughout the day. I bought this mattress because I have arthritis in the neck and scoliosis and my last softer saggy mattress made it all worse. I may try the Pro Adapt soft or Adapt medium. FYI I am 5'9" and 130 lbs. My 6' and 210 lb husband has no problem sleeping on this mattress.

We tried a bed in a tempurpedic store. we ordered the tempurpedic adapt king soft bed from the army air force base exchange. We thought we had 90 days to try the bed. The exchange would not take the return and tempurpedic would not either. The bed is not the same as we tried in the store. So, now we are stuck with a $3,400 bed that we hate. Don't buy an overpriced, overrated tempurpedic bed.

Not worth the money

Torn on this review because my husband loves this mattress. He's been pain free since day 1. I, on the other hand, immediately developed a strange mid-back pain, side pain and lower back pain. I'm lightweight so it may be that I don't sink enough, but I also think my body needs the support of coils. The "Medium" is definitely more of a firm. I do enjoy the sinking feeling but I find that I don't sink enough and not in the right places. We are returning this mattress because after about 70 days, my back pain is getting worse. I know many people love Tempur-Pedics but I don't think a full memory foam mattress is for me. If you're built like me (narrow shoulders, wider hips, lightweight, narrow boned), I would think twice before buying this.

material breakdown

This bed was a demo which means it was up to 100 nights old. I got a break on the price and there was no commitment to keep the bed. One side was totally sagging and I had to turn the bed to find a spot to lay in that was supportive. I was not impressed with my first tempurpedic experience....not worth the $$
