From day one Martin listened to my story with such empathy of how my current bed was causing my severe back and lower neck pain which was not caused from Halstead bed purchase. He is a professional and knew exactly what mattress to recommend, and well...it did the trick! In a few short weeks we received our new bed.
I could nearly jump out of bed again. it was a miracle being referred to Halstead and we will never look elsewhere again. From sale to delivery it was such a positive experience. The all natural latex pillows seemed to help too with my C5/C6 neck pain. I just cant remember the last time I slept so well. And thank you to the team for packaging it so well for transport.

We bought Tempur-Pedic mattresses a few years ago, and after two years one mattress failed to provide support. I submitted a claim, which was swiftly denied, with comments about the surface sag measurement when the mattress is not in use. The mattress has failed. The mattress does not properly support me, and I sink more than half the depth of the mattress in the center, with the head and foot positions remaining at near-full depth, basically creating a hole for my mid-section to sink into.
Tempur-Pedics warranty criteria isn't relevant to the qualities we look for in a mattress, rather their production factors and an arbitrary measurement that has absolutely nothing to do with comfort or support.
Tempur-Pedics customer service was quick to respond with a denial of our request, and spurned our requests for a representative to come to our home to observe the mattress failure.
Never again Tempur-Pedic.
We've tried purchasing high end sheets and changing the box springs, removing the box springs, changing the bed frame, different pillows - you name it. Cant rid the bed of hot sleep. For comparison any number of hotels (pre-covid) provided comfortable sleep without the heat issue.
The other issue is we washed the supremebreeze liner that unzips from the mattress and it shrunk! So now stuffing the mattress into the shrunken liner caused it to flatten and bunch up in the corners.
Our daughters Avocado mattress retails for far less and sleeps much better.

After 9 years of bliss, my Tempurpedic Cloud is wearing out. The memory foam is flattening and overall is getting lumpy. Over $4k it's sad it needs to be replaced already.
It is slightly warm - even despite the "breeze" cooling top. I personally really love the memory foam feel of this bed, love how supportive it is, and I generally sleep really well. I'm 5'6", about 150# and mainly sleep on my back. My boyfriend on the other hand finds this bed far too soft for his preference, doesn't like the 'sinking in' feeling, and finds he sleeps super hot. For reference, he is 6'4", about 180#, a side sleeper, and I should mention that he would probably be perfectly happy sleeping on a piece of wood with a sheet on top. So we clearly have different preferences!
Overall, the bed does a great job with motion transfer and I feel like I can sleep up to the edge without feeling like I'm going to roll off it. After owning this bed for about 5 years, it does feel like it's gotten a little softer over time, but I think I'd happily get another 5 years out of it easily.

When we first got this bed, we loved it. It was definitely better than our previous bed, and my husband slept without back pain for the first time in a long time. We got it for his back pain, and it was definitely an improvement for him. I prefer a firmer mattress, so I found it a bit too soft for my taste, but it was okay in the beginning. However, we've now had it for 8 years, and over time, it has developed soft spots and sags, and it no longer provides the support I need. My husband has started experiencing occasional back pain, and I wake up with back pain every day. I often have to sleep on the spare bed in our house to alleviate my pain. It can also be very hot. We often wake up over-heated in the night or morning.

This mattress provide next to zero support and feels like you are being swallowed when you lie on it (it is worth noting I am a petite woman, weighing 100lbs and 5’4” tall). My husbands side (he’s 6’4” and about 220lbs) has become so soft and sunken that if I sleep near him I end up rolling downhill into him. Honestly one of the worst purchases we’ve ever made. All in we spent over $5,000 for a mattress I can’t wait to get ride of.
