I bought this bed set right out of college from Macy's. I bought a full size set. 35 years later, the mattress is still like new and I have slept on it almost every day and every year since I bought it. The box spring is also holding up but my cats have torn the protective fabric from the bottom, so I will probably get a new box spring at some point. I now use a 3 inch foam mattress topper on my Simmons Maxipedic and it is so soft and comfortable. I sleep like a baby. I also have no health issues or any body or back pain anywhere, I am still very young looking and in great health, maybe thanks to sleeping on my Simmons Maxipedic for 35 years! I plan on keeping this mattress as long as I continue sleeping like a baby, maybe for another 35 years.
Bought in Perth in the 90s, move to New Zealand. Still going strong, still firm & comfortable. Just noticed the fabric starting to wear & think I should get a new one but I seriously want one the same. When I married we bought a King but it is so synthetic, lumpy & soft I found it hard to sleep.
