He started GoodBed after a fatefully frustrating mattress shopping experience, during which he saw the need for a trustworthy and personalized guide that helps people search across brands and stores to find and buy the best mattress for them. Prior to GoodBed, Magnuson was a private equity investor focused on digital media and marketing, as well as a management consultant. Magnuson received his MBA from Stanford and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Finance and Systems Engineering.
