Business locality refers to the desire amongst consumers to purchase products that are made locally or domestically, and are sold by locally-based businesses.
When used as praise, consumers tend to mention that a company is headquartered in their area, or that the product was "made in the USA." As a complaint, it may be noted that this product was imported from another country.
