Avoid it like the plague

After two years, the foam layer has broken down and springs are failing. Side walls have bulged out about 2 inches and have 3 inch depressions on both sleeping areas of the queen mattress (this after regular rotation of the mattress with sleepers weighing 150 and 185 pounds). Have pursued warranty claim with exceptionally poor response from warranty department at Simmons. Very comfortable when first delivered but rapid degradation with acute back issues following.

We too have a Simmons and find their bed painful to sleep in. We were delivered 2 defective mattresses which Simmons agreed that they were defective and then promptly sent us back to the retailer Mancini's Sleepworld. Mancini's is happy to replace it with another, but will not apply the full amount we spent on the original towards the replacement one, as they are keeping $338.00 which the District Manager said that the money is split between both Mancini's and Simmons. Seems to me that both the manufacturer and the retailer are scamming the consumer.
