We got this mattress two weeks ago from a Jeromes bloopers sale. I have yet to have a good nights sleep on it. Unfortunately, since it was a clearance item there is no way we can return it. I've woken up each morning feeling like I slept on a blanket covered rock. I've begun sleeping on the couch until I can find a mattress pan that can make this mattress somewhat comfortable. If that doesn't work, I suppose it will end up on craigslist.

Dear Sleepless - all brands come in different comfort levels. The mattress you bought was wrong for you but that does not make it deffective or the store a bad place to buy. You selected the wrong bed, your mistake.
If you bought a pair of shoes from a catalogue and you didn't like the way they fit is that the shoes fault, the stores fault or yours? The most important thing you can do before you buy a mattress is lay on it. Next time do yourself, the store and the brand you review a favor, try it out first.
